With its state-of-the-art surfaces and equipment, the Track and Field Complex at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex is considered to be one of the world's premier competition and training facilities for state, national, and international events. The Track and Field Complex features all the amenities of a modern world-class facility, which is designed to the exact specifications of the International Amateur Athletic Federation (IAAF), the world governing body for track and field.
A close look at the track reveals a double-layer Martin Surfacing ISS-1000 Encapsulated Finish Polyurethane Surface, which allows for fast performances. Nine 48-inch lanes offer wide-angle turns for the swiftest sprint transitions. Double straight-aways allow sprint and hurdle races on both sides. Additional features include:

- two interior horizontal jump runways
- two pole-vault runways with landing zones

Grandstands offer seating for approximately 500 fans and have the ability to expand. Portable trailers are available for press, scoring, administrative, and clerking activities.
